JULY 13
Isaiah 6:1- “In the year that king Uzziah died, I saw also the Lord.”
Please remember to read “My Utmost for His Highest” for Today
ALONE
I felt all alone in my heart today. My friends had gone or moved away.
God said, “Child hold tightly to My Hand. For you, I have a specialized plan.
Don’t be discouraged, downhearted or blue. I’ve waited a long time for just Me and you. In all of this world, I have chosen you. At this time in history, there is much to do.
In all of this world, we are finally alone. Now, come dear Child, before My Throne.
At last I know that I am first with you. I am also second and third with you too.
Now that your focus is on My Face, My plans for you are well in place.
I was waiting for you to release control before I would reveal your current role.
You are paying the price as you walk alone. Hold steady Child, You are bone of My Bone. I know every fiber that makes you tick. I know every heart ache that makes you sick.
Walk tall all alone, you are anointed now.
Too many distractions had robbed you somehow!”

PONDER- When a hero or mentor is no longer there for us, loneliness is a hazard. Journal the advantages of solitude. Watch for a sacred surprise laying dormant. God’s timing is always superb. God’s decisions re death and life are wise. List the dangers of becoming overly dependent on a mentor, pastor, parent or dear friend. Journal the lessons learned when a cherished friend was no longer there for you.
DEAR LORD, Thank you that You will never leave us. Thank you for the
ways YOU fill up the loneliest times of our lives. Thank you for letting me see
You through both the happy and sad transitions of life. In Jesus’ Name, amen.
