JULY 15

Romans 1:14- “I am debtor both to the Greeks and to the barbarians.”

Please remember to read “My Utmost for His Highest” for Today

 I OWE

I owe my life to Jesus. I offer time and talents to Him.

Because of the Grace of Redemption, my life has purpose, not whims.

Because of the Plan of Redemption, any success or progress I make

Is due to the Grace of the Father. I am forgiven for Jesus’ Sake.

I owe all I am to Jesus. I owe all I am going to be.

I owe my gratitude to Jesus because His love has transformed me.

I owe to my fellow travelers the news of the message of the cross.

I owe whatever I am given, anything else should be considered loss.

Forgive me Lord, for my focus. Life was all about me and my needs.

As a teachable bond slave to Jesus, I will preach so that souls will believe.

I’m a debtor to all the world’s people. I’m a love slave to Jesus alone.

Help me to drop my agendas as I show folk their eternal way home.

PONDER-When we realize the miracle of salvation we will want to share God’s good news. We owe it to our fellow man. If you have accepted God’s Gift of Salvation for yourself, what are the distinct advantages? List the most important gifts, talents and facets of your life. On a scale of 1 to 10, how much of each talent belongs to Jesus?  What is keeping you back from fully surrendering the talents with the lowest scores.  Look at this list again in a month. How might your scores change after daily seeking Him for a month?

Dear Lord, In my gratitude to You for all You have done for me, help me to never loose sight of the fact that You are my Source and Supplier. Help me to watch for daily ways to serve You and tell others the salvation Story.  Help me to realize that I owe it to everyone I meet, to tell them about Jesus. Forgive me for keeping the GOOD NEWS to myself. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
