 ATTITUDE

There’s an attitude of failure that permeates a wounded soul.

God offers an attitude of confidence that trusts and lets it go.

God’s control is strong and faithful. God orchestrates His time and place.

God strengthens forgiving attitudes while painful memories are erased.

If darkness settles ‘round us, if clouds are heavy with suspicious fear,

The face of Jesus is hidden. Fear is conquered when Christ appears.

Prayer is the builder of confidence. Prayer is the anecdote for doom.

Prayer saturates our beings, creating healing as gratitude resumes.

So brush off your wounded attitudes. Welcome the Prince of Peace.

Jesus came to change attitudes. In Him is offered total release.

God wants to give us good things. He created forgiveness and trust.

So get on board weary Pilgrim. Let Satan wallowing in sin’s dust!

PONDER-What might cause attitude changes in a Christian’s life? What part does physical weariness play in this vulnerability? List the signs of a souring attitude or disposition. List the anecdotes for each. What part does saturation in the WORD and claiming the promises of God make in healing and receiving God’s goodness?

Dear Lord, Thank you for offering us good gifts and blessings all the time. Thank you for the joy You have when you provide us with the gifts You have waiting. Help us to call on you for strength, encouragement and peace. What a privilege we have as your children. Help us to remember to receive from you daily. In Jesus’ Name, AMEN.
