Thoughts about OBEDIENCE

1.Obedience wears a different face when filtered through the love of God’s grace.

2. Obedience creates a different mark when understood through God’s Light in the dark.

3. Obedience portrays a different view when it is filtered through the God’s love for you.

4.Obedience unleashes God’s plans for me offering the tools for my potential to be.

5.Obedience involves God’s timing and care.  Obedience to Him is a privilege to share.

6. Obedience is a privileged place when we understand fully His saving Grace.

7. Obedience is only for the strong. Strength filters from Him when to Him you belong.

8. Obedience to God is a lifetime tool. Those quick to obey soon appreciate the rules.

9. Obedience to God is an intimate place. Privileges with the Master guarantees the race.

10. God is looking for souls to obey. Don’t disappoint Him another day.

Points to Ponder-What part of the Master-Servant role is the most difficult for you today? List the areas of your life that need change or obedience to prepare for service. What part does fear and/or laziness play in sabotaging obedience? Keep alert.

Think through your favorite Bible stories. What part did obedience play? Challenge-Try to obey God’s leading for and entire day. Ask yourself, “What would Jesus do?” all day.

Journal the results. Perhaps this will become a way of life for you.

Dear Lord,  I confess that my obedience is rusty. Help me to trust You today and obey Your leading today. Make me brave enough to experiment with Your leading today.

Help me to find strength in Your Word. May I bathe every encounter in prayer.

I need courage, Lord. Help me in a special way today.  In Jesus’ Name, AMEN.
