BLAZE

Blaze into my heart, Lord, until there is a vapor trail.

So that everyone I meet today knows God’s love will never fail.

Blaze across my sight today until I view only Him.

Permeate my viewpoint Lord, until earthly cares grow dim.

Blaze upon my countenance until Your Peace is well in place.

Transforming attitudes and thoughts allowing You to set the pace.

Blaze upon my work today. Rule and reign within my heart.

When obedient surrender comes, You’ll have a place to start.

Blaze upon each word and thought. Renew my soul each day.

Branded into each personal choice will be reaching souls God’s way.

Blaze into my Spirit Lord. I am weak and frail at times.

Take the concerns that sap my strength releasing ropes that bind.

Blaze into my pompous attitudes no matter how deep the pain.

Knowing earthly sacrifice is always Heaven’s gain.

PONDER- A true follower of Jesus Christ should relinquish ties that are obstacles in serving Him. People easily release responsibility ties but have greater difficulty releasing attitudes. Why are attitudes often pompously protected? Obedience is vital before moving deeper into the things of God. List preconceived attitudes. (e.g. music, worship and clothing prejudices) Erase all except God’s ideas. Watch Him enlarge your joy filled list. There is enough joy for the journey. Welcome to the “BLAZER’S” club!

DEAR LORD, Thank you for giving me a love for serving You and a “hatred” for any thing that comes between us. I want to be a true disciple or follower of You. I know obedience is the key. Blaze across my heart and zap me with Your Presence and Your Love. In Jesus’ Name, Amen
