The Beatitudes are Divine guidelines

Developing good citizens of worth.

But God intended much more focus

Allowing the Holy Spirit to work.

New discoveries are unveiled by the Spirit.

Read God’s Word through the Father’s Eyes.

Spiritual insights soon flourish

As preconceived notions flounder and die.

Poverty, mourning or blessings

Take on an entirely fresh point of view

As the Spirit whispers God’s teachings

The Beatitudes become personalized for you.

Hold on. Read again. Think of Jesus.

Stop short. Take a look at the Cross.

The Beatitudes bathed by the Spirit

Crystallize God’s Truths that were lost.

Surrender. Slow down. Get the picture.

The Beatitudes are attitudes from Him.

Hold close to the Spirit, dear Pilgrim.

Preconceived notions will gradually dim.

Be refreshed. Be refilled. Find renewal.

Walk daily in obedience and love.

The Beatitudes are more than God’s Blessings.

They are the Father’s life teaching from above.

P0NDER- If the Sermon on the Mount is a way of life, list the attitudes that are most difficult for you. Ponder the changes that obedience will make in your spiritual journey using the Beatitudes to change your Attitudes. Study each Beatitude. Watch for a revelation of each in your daily walk with God. Journal the results. Watch for sacred surprises.
