OBEDIENCE

It is a risk to become obedient.

It is a risk to open closed doors.

It is a risk to obey the Father.

But His approval will instantly pour.

Obedience is  a house cleaning action.

Scrutiny rattles all comfort zones.

Being sensitive to the Truth of the Spirit

Creates intimacy in every fibre and bone.

If I want to know my Jesus

If I want to hear His full heart

The only path to that privilege

Is the place where obedience starts.

PONDER-Doctrines are written by man as guidelines. More importantly the Word of God is our ultimate guideline. Examine your heart. Is God unearthing a truth that you are avoiding as you move into holiness with Him? What part does obedience play?

Journal the spiritual doctrines you maintain. Examine them. Are they all WORD related and God ordained? Journal the scripture texts you have found to support the beliefs by which you live.

Dear Lord, Thank you for leading and guiding me each day. Thank you for the doctrines in my life that you are changing and/or find tuning. TEACH ME THY WAY, Oh Lord.

Thank you in advance, for the strength you will give me today to obey. In Jesus’ Name, AMEN.
