LOST VISION

Captivate my vision Lord, until my will entwines with Thine.

My vision needs refreshing Lord, may it flow like bubbling wine.

Captivate my pampered arrogance. Break any fear that changes see.

Until my view becomes what You saw as You hung on Calvary’s tree.

Captivate my vision Lord. Prune me until You alone are seen.

May my vision find renewal? You must wonder where I’ve been?

Capture me with Your divine lasso. Turn my thinking all around.

Lord, I now realize that wherever You are is Holy ground.

Lord, revive my old rusty vision. I wept when changes came.

I almost missed Your blessings, but You kept plenty for me to claim.

I’m back at the altar Jesus. My friends and loved ones are there.

I hope these young folk will help us because sometimes we need a chair!

I’m back to singing and praising. I’ m rejoicing and ready to serve.

I almost became a geriatric drop out but Jesus loves me more than I deserve.

PONDER- Do you recall a dream or a vision God gave you and it was shelved? Why?

Could it be revived or renewed today? Could the parched ground become a pool?

What would happen in your sphere of living IF you allowed the Holy Spirit complete sway in your life with old or new visions in operation? Try it. Journal the results. Obey the Spirit’s leading and enjoy the journey.

Dear Lord, Thank you for loving and forgiving me when complications of life distract me. Forgive me for being so easily discouraged. Help me to seek out and encourage others as they dream dreams and see visions. You’ve promised us that marvelous things would happen. Thank you for the privileges of being in daily ministry. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
