Joshua 24:19- “Ye cannot serve the Lord”

 THE CALL

The Call comes clear as crystal across all space and time.

The Call draws like a magnet. “I’ve called you, you are Mine.”

The Call is uniquely special. There’s no time to vacillate.

Satan tries to distract and weaken but God’s Call is never late.

The Call means to stop and focus. Oft times treading timidly alone.

God comforts, “Child, I’m with you. Be brave. I’m your Cornerstone.

I’ll rebuild, renew and refresh you. I’ll anoint as freedom sings.

Everywhere your ministry touches, there is healing in My Wings.

My Wings will lift and balance. My Wings will soar above cares.

Beneath My Wings take refuge. I’ve Called. Now go with prayer.”

Yes, the Call is plain and simple. Yes, obedience is constantly involved.

Joyfully anointed in His Presence allows human frailties to be solved.

PONDER-Some scripture is written to probe us and wake us from lethargy.

Why do you think this verse says, YE CANNOT SERVE GOD? When we come to the end of our human abilities, education, talents, etc. Then God will call us to be used.

Are some of your natural talents an obstacle preventing the true Call of God for your life?

Examine the use of your natural abilities for the Lord. Is a Call laying dormant because a natural talent is in God’s Way?

Dear Lord, Help me to keep focus on Your Call, not mine. In Jesus’ Name, AMEN.
