Have I made you homesick for heaven?
Do you anticipate seeing His Face?
Have I helped you enjoy His Presence?
Or was this a simple diversion of pace?
I long for you to know my Jesus.
I covet your soul for the Lord.
If I’ve made you homesick for Jesus
Then my life will never be bored!
We all were born with a vacuum.
A God shaped emptiness within.
When Jesus answers your heart cry
That homesickness is filled and He wins.
Seek the Lord daily and you’ll find Him.
Long for His Presence and He’ll be
All that He’s promised He’ll deliver.
I sought Him and He saved me and it’s free.

Dear Jesus- Thank you for creating such a vacuum in my life that only You can fill. Longing for the Presence of God is a wonderful place to be. Help me live so graciously, joyfully and lovingly that folk ask the reason for my peace and joy! May I witness well for you today. In Jesus’ Name, Amen
