JUNE 14
John 15:4- “Abide in Me”
Please remember to read “My Utmost for His Highest” for Today
ABIDING IN ME
If my circumstances are altered, if my days contain some chaos,
I’ll simply abide in His Presence, releasing confusion at the cross.
If my plans are not running smoothly, if life’s choices scream demands
Abiding in Jesus makes the difference, offering Peace in all life’s plans.
If I choose to abide in His Presence, if I choose to forgive at the cross,
Abiding in Christ is a pleasure and nothing surrendered is loss.
A loss creates a deficit. A loss includes loneliness with pain.
But loosing myself in Jesus brings intimate pleasures to gain.
So keep on abiding in Jesus regardless of what life brings.
Abiding is a place of choosing, abiding heals all stings.

Ponder or Journal-If abiding in Christ is a constant, He will be part of every financial, intellectual and social pursuit. Do I departmentalize in my relationship with Him? Am I selective? I will do this, but not this. I will abide in this, but not in that. Have I categorized facets of life without Him? Try an entire day of consciously, supernaturally abiding in Him and His Presence while fulfilling daily agendas. Journal the differences from the previous day. ABIDING WORKS! Enjoy!
Dear Lord, Thank you for the release and relief I experience when I truly abide in YOU.
Thank you for the anticipatory joy I feel as I launch out in this new adventure of abiding in You and in Your Presence. Forgive me for the times that I could have abided more, but surrender was not on my agenda that day. Thank You for Your infinite patience with me. Your love is beyond measure. I love you Lord, In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
