John 15:13, 15-“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friend…I have called you friends.”
Please remember to read “My Utmost for His Highest” for Today
It’s Easier to Die
It’s easier to die than to live for Him.
It’s easier to sink than to swim.
It’s easier to stay at home than go.
Resigning could be a frustrated whim.
What makes the difference in this vale of tears?
What makes the difference to you my friend?
Remaining true to the Call of God
Is anointed loyalty ‘til the very end.
God calls through our lonely confusions.
He calls us to loyalty as our friend.
Loyalty to Jesus and all He anoints
Offers God’s blessing to the very end.
What is your choice, your decision or task?
Is loyalty a love covenant to the end?
Friendships are forever when He is involved.
He wants to bless you and call you His Friend?

Ponder or Journal-Life is daily. Daily commitments, daily sacrifices and daily loyalties are not for the feint of heart. List the most difficult relationships you encounter regularly.
Consider how might they become “greater love” as you represent the Lord in that relationship? On a scale of 1 to 10, how does your personal friendship temperature gauge rate. Re-evaluate the list for Jesus’ Sake and from His point of view. Are there changes? Watch for blessings. Perhaps He has anointed you into a sacred friendship.
Dear Lord, Help me to grow friendships as I represent you. Help me to search for difficult hurting people and love them into the kingdom like you do. May I be aware that difficult people might have wounds that You want to heal. Help me to ALWAYS be approachable to encourage others. Thank you for being my Forever Friend. In Jesus’ Name, Amen
