TRAP

Write a prayer journal.

I fell into a trap today of praying for personal needs.

I know I am a royal priest called to pray.

But sometimes my problems bleed.

I took those burdens on my heart

Reminded my Lord they are His.

Picking up my prayers for others for today.

The Lord gave me peace in a whiz!

If I am anointed priest called to pray

The assignment is not about me

But I was distracted from my Call.

Dear Lord, forgive those frailties You see.

God calls through the silence, “My Child trust in Me.

My atonement long ago covered yours.

Pick up your royal priesthood and robe.

Praying in My Spirit now pours.

Pray for your neighbors. Pray for the sick.

Listening to heartaches will light healing wicks.

Use godly wisdom wherever you go.

Time spent with Me. It’s beginning to show.

Walk past personal pain to the party I’ve planned.

Pray past the surface holding on to My Hand.

Become tired enough of yourself and your ways.

That relying on Me will hallow your days.

Pick up the priesthood, the call and the love.

The trap that now holds you is prayer power from above.

Priestly power is godly. Priestly garments hold praise.

You’re anointed to serve Me all of your days.

The trap is a love trap prayer opens the door.

Prayer is your calling watch the blessings now pour.
