FRIENDSHIP WITH JESUS

If I have a friendship with Jesus

In His Companionship I will be steeped.

I’ll lovingly bask in His Presence.

Knowing first hand what makes Him weep.

If I have a friendship with Jesus

I’ll carry His Vision with joy.

Confusions cluttering my daily living

In His Sight are simply tools to employ.

If I have a friendship with Jesus

He and I know such intimate trust

That I’ll realistically follow His leading

Never allowing our relationship to rust.

If I have a friendship with Jesus

I’ll know Him so well when I pray

That however He Calls me to serve Him

Will be refreshingly anointed every day.

Journal Jottings/Points to Ponder-Has the Call of God on your life become a ritual?

Are you taking adequate fun filled breaks and adequate rest? Why should the Call of God be renewed daily? What is the temperature of your friendship with Jesus? Which is more important your Call or your Friendship with Him? Journal your responses to the prodding of the Spirit in the above matters.

Dear Lord, Thank You that You are a friend that never leaves us and never forsakes us.

Thank You for the privileges of being shown a glimpse of Your vision from time to time.

Thank you for your daily refreshing, renewal and anointing. Thank you for the joy of serving You. n Jesus’ Name, Amen.
