Hebrews 13:5-“For He hath said, I will never leave thee nor forsake thee”
Please remember to read “My Utmost for His Highest” for Today
REALLY TRUE
Ask the man in the depths of a coal mine, if God is with him there.
Ask the boy in the iron lung if his God really answers prayer.
Ask the soldier in battle, ask the one living on a dirty street
Does God truly never forsake us
Or is that simply a church orator’s bleep?
God lives in the deepest depths of the underground.
God companions those who battle for their health.
God filters through the trenches of weary soldiers
Defending all victims of Satan’s evil stealth.
Ask the man who crashed on auto pilot.
Ask the banker who wasted his gold.
Ask the woman who was raped for a few dollars
Does God really never leave us alone?
God never forsakes in life’s trouble.
Satan causes and develops all sin.
Where was God in life’s tragedies?
Sin controlled God’s space to begin.
Satan births all evil and sinning.
Bad choices welcome sin there.
The God who will never forsake us
Saw our bad choices and lovingly cares.
He created man with the choice and ability
To choose to walk away from all sin.
The devil is the one who made evil
God gets blamed when man chooses to sin.
God was there in the darkest of midnight.
God was there in the pain of each hour.
God picks up man’s sinful conditions
Offering to soothe and heal by His Power.
So I no longer blame God for evil.
Evil is the devil’s full due.
I release the results of sinful choices.
God loves as His Healing breaks through.
He breaks through as we forgive one another.
He breaks through to caress one more time.
The God who created the atom
Weeps and forgives us all every time.
Where was God in the evil?
Where was God in the pain?
I wonder. I ask many questions.
But He has kept me to today, unashamed.
He has kept me to trust Him completely.
He has kept me to forgive one more time.
He has never forsaken or shunned me.
Thank God I’m His and He’s mine.

Prayerfully dedicated to those with deep wounds.
Dear Lord, My questions are not a problem to You. Thank you for understanding when I wonder where YOU where in various circumstances on this vale of tears. I know Your Power is strong enough to prevent and solve things that were allowed to happen. Help me learn what You want me to learn during these tragedies. Increase my faith, knowing that You get to write the final chapters. Help me to forgive the deep wounds of my life, especially when the memories haunt me. Please heal my memories also. Thank you that I know Your heart breaks with mine. Thank you for the comfort of Your Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
