Philippians 2:12-“Work out your own salvation.”

Please remember to read “My Utmost for His Highest” for Today

HIS GOOD PLEASURE

If I am a vessel of honor and God is my Captain of soul

Then all of my deeds, words and actions

Should portray His loving control.

If I am a vessel of honor, if God is the Strength of my willThen I will obey His Spirit

And His Peace draws my life to be still.

If I am a vessel of honor, if God has invested in me

Then I am a pleasure to Jesus

Who is working at reshaping me.

If I am a vessel of honor, His joy and His Peace rule my heart.

Satan has no space to operate

Jesus and me are never apart.

If I am a vessel of honor, and God expects me to be

Then I will rarely muddle life directions

While His Spirit is flowing through me.

Points to Ponder or Journal- If we cannot work for Salvation, then working out my Salvation is a very different matter. Journal the difference between works and working out.

What part does our will have to do with our working out the obedience that we are being taught by the Holy Spirit. Make a list of the attributes of a vessel of honor.

Dear Lord, Thank You for creating my unique will. Do whatever you need to do to take control of my life. I surrender my life and my will to You daily. Help me to remember that when my will is lost in Yours, Your Will becomes mine. Thank you Lord, for loving me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
