MARCH 17- Happy St. Patrick’s Day
2 Corinthians 5:9-“Wherefore we labor that…we may be accepted of Him.”
Remember to read “My Utmost for His Highest” for Today
TAKING STOCK
What is my spiritual inventory?
What has accumulated all week?
Do I need to dispatch or discard things?
Are bad attitudes creating spiritual leaks?
If I take stock of all my life contents,
Sifting with heart and body and soul.
I’ll steadily stay focused on Jesus
Until holiness becomes my goal.
Effort is required to maintain standards.
It takes discipline to make choices to win.
No matter how heavy life’s heartaches
Jesus forgives when we confess all our sin.
Take stock. Be alert. Maintain caution.
God’s business can flourish with loss.
Beware of indulging in slovenly habits
Because distractions pave detours from the cross.
What is the best measure of life’s inventory?
What is expected of those who serve Him?
Simply, that a warrior remain faithful.
Obedience guarantees His Call will not dim.

JOURNAL JOTTINGS-In all the daily clutter of living, what is of true value and importance? List today’s activities. Which of them will matter ten years from now?
What are your plans for tomorrow? Rate on a scale of one to ten in importance.
Think back over the past week. Which activities had eternal value?
DEAR LORD, In all the busyness of living, help me to maintain the standards YOU want for my life and activities. Keep me so close to You that I will obediently decline what is not in Your plan for my life each day. Guard my choices constantly. In Jesus’ Name, AMEN. (Only one life, ‘twill soon be past. Only what’s done for Christ will last.)
