Scruples are some basic facts

Honest, conscientious folk never lack.

Scruples are details sometimes out of style

Causing integrity and transparency to be missed by a mile.

If I am a responsible Child of the King

I’ll always have scruples when doing everything.

Scruples are silent while false accolades shout.

But a Pilgrim with scruples always carries clout.

Lord, keep this Pilgrim in the center of Your Care

If scruples tend to slip, remind me that You’re there!

JOURNAL JOTTINGS- Look up the word SCRUPLES in the dictionary. How many of these characteristics do you possess as a Child of the King? Which ones do you need to exercise more regularly? Begin to make a personal check list for yourself. Take inventory regularly in the light of obedience to Him.

DEAR LORD, Thank you for dying for all my sins including the unscrupulous ones.

Help me to keep find tuning my walk with You so that my reactions and responses to evil are automatically lining up Your will for my life. Forgive me for the times when I have failed and disappointed You. Thank you for being a God of the second chance. In Jesus’ Name, AMEN.
