JOHN 3:30 –“He must increase, I must decrease.”

Remember to read “My Utmost for His Highest” for Today

IF I’m the only Jesus, that folk around me see,

If I’m the only Jesus, what will they learn through me?

If I’m the only Jesus that ever walks their way

May I represent my Savior well in all I do and say?

When tempers flare in traffic, when fears at school control

What would Jesus offer to stifle Satan’s goals?

If I’m the only Jesus to walk across a shattered life

May God’s loving wisdom guide me to defuse any sinful strife.

If I’m the only Jesus that ever holds your hand

May you feel His Presence through me until YOU know Him firsthand.

If I’m the only Jesus that demonstrates His love

May He saturate your being until you sing His Praise above.

When you yourself know Jesus, when you feel His warm embrace

Then I’ll be out of focus enjoying His amazing Grace.

When you know well my Jesus. I’ll release you to go on.

Because my Lord is so personal, I pray you will be strong.

It doesn’t ever matter what I might say or do

It matters dear heart most of all that Christ becomes real to you!

POINTS TO PONDER or JOURNAL- On a scale of one to ten how well do I represent Jesus at work, at home, and in my neighborhood. IF I am the only Jesus folk ever see, what is their impression of Him? Submit yourself to an attitude check. How might this improve? What is the most important thing that Jesus did for mankind? Have you shared that good news this week? Start sharing. Journal the results.

DEAR LORD, Forgive me for the times I have poorly represented you in my sphere of living. Forgive me for selfishly hoarding the GOOD NEWS of Salvation to myself. Give me opportunities to share Your love frequently. May it become a way of life for me. Help me to be brave. Help me to remember that I am never alone. You will go with me and strengthen me as I share Jesus with others. In Jesus’ Name, AME
