John 3:29- “The friend of the Bridegroom”

Remember to read “My Utmost for His Highest” for Today

NOTHING INTERFERING

May nothing be interfering between my Lord and me

So whenever I talk about Jesus, you will see Him and never me.

If nothing is interfering, then you’ll see the Bridegroom first of all

Then all my exciting experiences won’t distract you from God’s Call.

What Christ has done in my experience might seem unusual and strange to you

But what He does for you, my Friend, carries God’s special anointing too.

So in all my joyful excitement, in all my creative adventures and plans

Remember precious Child of God, He wants you to relax in His hands.

So let’s keep on sharing our experiences without loosing the central theme

That God Himself is honored because His blessings are readily seen.

Keep on loving and caring. Keep on praising the Lord with joy.

When a Pilgrim finds his Savior, he has eternity to creatively enjoy.

POINTS TO PONDER or JOURNAL-Nothing is worse than a guest trying to upstage the bride or groom. It can happen. What kind of person would perform in this manner? Could we been guilty of upstaging JESUS? Make sure we give honor where honor is due in all areas of life. Journal a time when the messenger got in the way of the Message. How might this be prevented? This could be a hazard of Christian leadership. Opinion please.

DEAR LORD, Help me to keep my focus on YOU as the Author and Finisher of my faith. Guard my heart from stealing the limelight that should be Yours. Help me to constantly praise and honor YOU. In Jesus’ Name, AMEN.
