FULL BLOOM OF PURITY
In the springtime there are blossoms waiting patiently to open wide
With silent, promised springtime, buds will reveal all blooms inside.
There is a time for holiness to blossom from the wellspring of our hearts
With Godly, tender nurturing God reveals all blooms He starts.
The bloom of holiness will open as God’s fragrance wends His Way
To the nostrils of the seeker who is learning purity, God’s Way.
Time waiting for purity’s blossoms involves investment in sacred prayer
When those blossoms bloom in humility, Spirit filled holiness is fragrantly there.

JOURNAL JOTTINGS or POINTS TO PONDER: List the natural characteristics of the winter season. Beside it, list the characteristic changes of spring. Note the similarities to the awakening that happens on a God directed spiritual encounter with Him. (Dormancy vs. growth, cold vs. warming, frost vs. thaw, barren vs. blossoms etc.)
DEAR LORD, When winter seems so long, help me to remember that spring is just ahead. When I feel far from You in the winter of my soul, help me to know that You are working growth in me all the time. Thank you that Your blossom times are never late.
May I understand that every spiritual journey is a process. Thank You for the promise of spring. Help me to notice and rejoice when spring returns to my heart as I process Your plan. Help me to be obedient in the holiness process. Keep me fragrant through it all.
In Jesus’ Name, Amen
