MARCH 27

Revelation 4:1 “Come up hither , and I will shew thee things.”

Remember to read “My Utmost for His Highest” for Today

Many have gone through stress and heartache lately. Our comfort comes by drawing closer to the Master and watching for His Sacred Surprises.

COME UP HIGHER

Am I higher up the mountain than I was a year ago today?

Am I closer in His Presence? Is my life changed in any way?

Am I higher up the mountain where the tangles of life are loose?

Or am I watching other climbers envying the comfort of their shoes?

Climb on dear weary Pilgrim. Keep on climbing closer every day.

The Master is shaping your character, while teaching you God’s Way.

Your Pilgrimage is uniquely different. Compare yourself to none around.

Climb higher in His Presence. He offers Peace nowhere else to be found.

As you climb, you’ll encounter “heavies” while learning to refine your goals.

He offers refreshment on every level as He anoints you with fresh coals.

The coals you’ll collect while climbing are from the altar of sacrifice.

Those coals of enriching encouragement are because He paid the Price.

So welcome the climb, dear Pilgrim. Be encouraged. You have traveled far.

The view is getting brighter. God’s love encompasses where you are!

POINTS to PONDER or JOURNAL- Where were you a year ago today and what were you doing there? Journal the differences in your life since last year. Since ten years ago.

What is God currently teaching you? Are you using it to reach others for Him?

God always teaches us with Purpose. Your teachable attitude is a delight to Him.

DEAR LORD, In all the adjustments and transitions of life help me to remember that Your goals for me have eternity’s point of view. Help me to remember that when the people and the circumstances I encounter are “heavies” for me that this is no surprise to You. You allowed this to happen to help me to climb higher into Your Presence.

Thank you for the privilege of Your Presence constantly with me. In Jesus’ Name. Amen
