Isaiah 59:16-“And He….wondered that there was no intercessor”

PRAYER- Recreation or Assignment

Prayer is a privilege offered to become intimate with the Lord.

Prayer must be on the agenda for those who wield the Sword. (Bible)

The Sword is a tool for the front lines. The front lines are where battles begin.

No one can be on the front lines unless they know where and how to win.

How can we win on the front lines? What are God’s strategy plans?

Time spent praying in the closet will strengthen any soldier man.

If we are accepting God’s assignments, if we want to conquer God’s foes.

Then the place to prepare for His service is alone with the best Teacher we know.

In prayer God establishes our focus. In prayer He gives assignments out

In prayer we can take time to focus. Intercessors are warriors with clout!

Roll up your sleeves weary Pilgrims. Intercession is a Call to Prayer.

God is looking for faithful Intercessors. Where is your closet of Prayer?

Is prayer for you an assignment or is it something you are casual about?

Intercession is neither a recreation nor an option.

Intercessors are Christians with Divine clout.

JOURNAL JOTTINGS or POINTS TO PONDER-Have you ever had a strong call or urgency to intercede in prayer on someone’s behalf? How long did you pray? An intercessor is a person who stands in the gap between God and man until they connect.

Then the assignment is over. We should get out of the way and let the person connect to God himself. Intercessors are NOT little gods. They stand in the gap mentoring until the connection is made. Intercessors might have secret assignments. Can God trust you with His secrets? You don’t need to share everything God tells you. SIMPLY pray. Let GOD do the revealing. Make sure you are a GODLY intercessor not a Gossip. Intercessors can cause trouble. THEY know too much. Walk worthy if you are a genuine intercessor. This is NOT recreation. Intercession is big business for God.

DEAR LORD, May we always guard the sacred trust of intercession for Jesus’ sake.
