LOYALTY

God is looking for loyalty

No matter the location of cost.

God is looking for loyalists

So souls can be reached who are lost.

God is looking for loyalty

For those who obey with no map.
God is looking for loyalists

Upon them His Anointing will zap.

God is looking for loyalty

Those who fully obey are so few.

God deciphers dread disloyalties

I wonder, can He count upon you?

Will you be loyal in hardship?
Could you remain faithful all alone?

Would you be loyal if tortured?

Loyalty is God’s cornerstone.

POINTS TO PONDER or JOURNAL- Why do you think loyalty is a lost art?

What part has disloyalty played in the major hurts of your life? Who was disloyal to Jesus? What might have been the cause? Journal a time when you forgave someone’s disloyalty to you. Journal the results and blessings.

Dear Lord, Forgive me for the timidity of heart that causes me to be less than loyal to You and Your Cause. Give me courage to maintain spiritual loyalty everyday.

Help me to be a loyal friend. Help me to represent You well in every relationship, so that folk will learn about “A friend that sticketh closer than a brother.” Thank you for the Holy Spirit that You sent to be my Comforter when everyone else in my life walks out.  Thank you that You never leave us or forsake us. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
