Habakkuk 2:3- “Though it tarry, wait for it.”

Please remember to read “My Utmost for His Highest” for  Today

EXCEED OUR GRASP

That task is overwhelming!

Those ideas are out of sync!

Everything I long for in my life

Creates a critic’s superior stink!

If I obey God’s assignment with focus

(And challenges are nothing to Him,)

Then roadblocks of ease where I stumble

Will quickly dissipate and grow thin.

Lord, Walk across all open visions.

Enlarge our focus, by Your Grace.

Let nothing and no one deter us

While Your Presence sets the pace.

Stretch our lives to the uttermost with purpose.

Teach us refinement along the Way.

Until whatever we reach for with Jesus

Is found by tarrying with Him everyday.

So reach out and claim the impossible.

Enlarge your vision with anointing, God’s Way

The Hands with the nail scars will bless you.

Walking with Jesus brings joy every day.

JOURNAL JOTTINGS: What is the difference between tarrying and waiting? What are the dangers of too much spiritual relaxation? How might a disciple become free from time constraints during spiritual preparation? Stop. Wait. Listen. Journal what God says to you in the silence.

Dear Lord, Forgive me for the times that I have not tarried in Your Presence. I must have disappointed You. Help me to become so devoted to You that time is forgotten.

May I become more in love with You than with any other person, cause, issue, idea or ideal. I love you Jesus. In Your Name I pray, AMEN.
