Matthew 6:25 – “Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body what ye shall put on.”
Please remember to read “My Utmost for His Highest” for Today
If worry is a deprivation that robs a peaceful heart.
Then why give in to uneasiness offering anxiety a place to start.
Worry is a soul’s lack of confidence in God’s Almighty Hand.
Worry says, “I can’t trust God unless I understand His Plan.”
Dear weary Pilgrim travelling upon life’s daily road.
Give all your worries to Jesus and let Him lift your load.
Another kind of worry is for others and their stuff.
Picking up their worries implies, “God isn’t strong enough!”
So release ALL worries to Jesus both the large ones and the small.
Faith and Peace will hold you. Now listen for His Call.
His Call is to intercession. His Call is to trust and obey.
Take all your worries to Jesus. It pays to simply pray.

JOURNAL JOTTINGS or Points to Ponder-List your current worries and concerns. Mark the ones that you can solve but about which you have procrastinated. Solve them as soon as possible. Of the remaining concerns, mark those that are none of your business. Delete them from your list but add them to another prayer list. With the remainder, find a scripture text to claim the promise of God to solve them. Memorize these texts and quote them while you are praying and interceding for them. Journal and date the results.
DEAR LORD, Forgive me for the times that I have worried and tried to solve difficult situations. Forgive me for trying to be God in the lives of others. Forgive me for getting in Your Way. You have lessons for all of us to learn through the concerns of life. If I solve it I will get the credit and they will miss Your teaching. Help me to differentiate between loving, prayerful concern and old- fashioned meddling. In Jesus’ Name. AMEN.
