Hebrews 10:19- “Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus.”

BOLDNESS

If we have the boldness to enter into His Holiest place

Then why do we express amazement when He chooses to answer by Grace?

Intercession is entering God’s Throne Room. Intercession uses His Power to care.

Intercession involves toil and travail. Intercessors expect answers to prayer.

If we have enough boldness to enter, knowing that we have access to Him,

Then why do we visit so infrequently when God wants us to enter right in?

Lord, “I forgot Your plan of my permission. Sometimes I forget Whose child I am.

I am redeemed by the shed blood of Jesus. My boldness is because of the Lamb.

I now can boldly offer my petitions. I can claim healing, deliverance and such.

Without the clutter of false timidity, My Father freely blesses me with much.

I will enter into His Presence because of Jesus, who intercedes constantly there for me.

I now have full privileges and total access. Jesus Himself died to set me free.

Points to Ponder: How does one differentiate between intercession and sympathy? What part do sinful choices play in the current issues for which you are praying? Journal what you think God’s Will is with these needs. What part are common sense solutions?

Dear Lord, thank you for the privileges of prayer. Help me to examine my heart and help me to deal with current sin issues before I can become a prayer conduit or intercessor. In other words, Lord, please forgive my sin. Make me a vessel for Your Honor. In Jesus’ name, AMEN.
