Luke 14:28-“For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counted the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?”

ONLY THREE

If I have only three years to serve Him, what would my ministry be?

If I had only three months to love Him, how and where would He change me?

Three years, three months or three hours, time is quickly slipping away

Do I know three folk who need Jesus? How can I reach them, God’s Way?

Do I know three souls without Jesus? Could I invest three hours with them?

Lord, walk across my full agenda. Teach me to flex, stretch and bend.

Lord, shake me to the depths of my being. Those three souls are lost without You.

Lethargy has me in bondage. Saying, “Not now. BUT will “in three days” do?

In ONLY three years, Jesus changed our world.

In ONLY three months new priorities could begin.

But ONLY three minutes alone with Jesus

Frees a procrastinator from complacency’s sin!

JOURNAL JOTTINGS or POINTS TO PONDER- It took you less than three minutes to read this devotional. Has God spoken to you in these three minutes? If you share Jesus with three people, then they do the same and those 9 do the same then 27 people will find Jesus in just three “tellings” (and if those 27 declare the Good News there will be 81 whom your ministry will bring to Christ. All because you were faithful with God’s message three times. (Try it once, you might be part of a sacred surprise.)

Counting the cost also involves counting the blessings. Enjoy your evangelism privileges.

Dear Lord, When I count the cost, help me to remember Your Cost on Calvary’s Tree.

Forgive me for the selfishness of keeping Your GOOD NEWS to myself. Help me to stop procrastinating and to begin to evangelize for Jesus’ sake and for the eternal sake of the listeners. In Jesus’ Name, AMEN. (Try each one reaching one!)
