MERCIFUL
Matthew 5:7-“Blessed are the merciful for they shall obtain mercy.”
SHAKESPEARE-“The quality of mercy is not strained. It droppeth as a gentle rain from heaven. It is twice blest. It blesses him that gives and him that takes.”
MERCY is compassion or restraint with regard to treatment of offenders or enemies.
A disposition to forgive.
GOD’S MERCY
Shakespeare talked about mercy and the quality of it.
Dropping like rain upon us, we should always cherish it.
God talks to us about Mercy. His includes pardon, forgiveness and pain.
I’m so thankful for the cost of God’s mercy and the day He called my name.
Mercy carries deep love in it. Mercy is grander by far
Than any gift or any giver and it doesn’t cost the stars!
Mercy is freely packaged. It overflows from the hand of God’s love.
God in His Mercy saved us gifting us with His Peace like a dove.
Thank you God for your Mercy. Thank you God for your Care.
Help me to extend so much Mercy that I will see many answers to prayer.
I didn’t deserve Your Mercy. I wasn’t worth the cost.
But You with Divine love and mercy did not want to see me lost.
Prayer is mercy in action. Prayer moves the hand of God.
Lord, keep me forgiving and merciful every day I walk on this sod!
