MOM WON’T BE WITH US THIS CHRISTMAS- 2004

Mom won’t be with us this Christmas

She’s gone to her heavenly home.

She’s having a ball this Christmas

Reunions without aches in her bones!

Mom won’t be home this Christmas

She’s celebrating with Dad and Al.

Her  loss of sight  is healed forever

She’ll recognize all her heavenly pals.

Mom won’t be sick this Christmas

Her shut-in days are past.

Mom is free to enjoy this Christmas

Without wondering if her money will last!

What might you do differently this Christmas?

(Life’s clock is ticking fast.)

What would you include this Christmas,

If you thought this was your very last?

Let’s hug each other more closely.

Let’s sing one more Carol all through.

Let’s give the gift of forgiveness.

Something those who are gone cannot do.

Cuddle close this Christmas morning.

Read Jesus’ birthing story through.

Reinvest your grief  in others

Proving God’s Gospel message is true.

Jesus came, He was laid in a manger.

He died for you on the Cross.

Jesus and Mom are in heaven.

I wonder? (Is Jesus still the Main Boss?)(Oops, Sorry, I needed something to rhyme with Cross)-

 Joyfully, Jerry & Marlene
