MOST HELP

René and Grandma dried the last cookie sheet and put away the bowls and mixer from their cooking marathon. Chocolate chip cookies, peanut butter squares and lasagna was cooling on the counter. Christmas baking at Grandma’s house had begun.  Rene and Grandma paused for a cup of milky tea and a taste test of the baking.

With a big sigh and a charming smile little René said,

“Grandma, that’s the MOST I’ve ever helped!”

Her work threshold was being stretched.

Picture the joy on her face, knowing she could almost match Grandma’s ambition.

Little René had just discovered the satisfaction of hard work happily completed.

Whose satisfaction?

HER OWN!

René comes from a wonderful lineage of ambitious Italian, Jews, Welsh,  English, and Canadians.

A strong work ethic flows in her veins.

What a privileged child she is. She is being taught to work hard and to carry a happy attitude along with her.

The JOY of work is almost a lost art.

Some of us have deprived our children.

What attitude do you have while you are working? Do you sing and smile while you work?

No matter the economic status let’s teach our children early to enjoy work.

It doesn’t take a genius to know the value of work well done.

PS. Fifteen years from now, employers for miles around will want to employ little Rene

I hope she’s not a vanishing breed.

SURPRISE- Grandma Sandi didn’t know that working hard is contagious!
