NO POINT
Matthew 5:3 – Blessed are the poor in spirit….
There is no point in His filling until I’m empty.
Empty of all my preconceived plans
Relinquishing my personal ambitions
Creates space for His wide-open Hands!
There is nothing to be filled, until I’m empty.
There is nothing for Him to do until I stop.
Lord, forgive me for my lack of surrender
I was distracted by the hands on a clock!
There is no one I’d rather be filled with than with Jesus.
There is nothing I’d rather do than serve Him.
Lord, forgive me for the distractions that consumed me
I didn’t notice how feebly my light had dimmed.
There is a Blessing involving personal participation.
Those poor in spirit receive gifts in Jesus’ Name.
There’s an eternal Kingdom available with salvation
Empty vessels are the true reason Jesus came.
