PRAYER

 Prayer is not only petition.

Prayer is a posture of heart.

Prayer is not meeting conditions.

Prayer is where ministry starts.

I dare not speak from a pulpit.

I dare not witness at all

Unless I am bathed in His Covering

And His Spirit upon me will fall.

All of the work and the planning

All the creative ideas that come

Are wasting time without focus

Unless God’s heart beats the drum.

Allow Him to drum, set the rhythm.

Allow Him to create the whole tone.

If the Father orchestrates our service,

Lost souls are on their way home.

So pray while anticipating direction.

Pray for Peace in your inner soul.

Anointed by His Spirit for service

Should be our focus and only prayer goal.

  JOURNAL JOTTINGS: No matter the circumstances, prayer should be our habit. Journal about an unusual situation when God’s quick answer surprised you. Prayer should be as regular as your heart beat. Journal the times when you were perpetually in prayer.

DEAR LORD, Thank you for the privilege of prayer. Thank you that circumstances and events can be changed because of the Power to intercede that you offer us. Keep me faithfully praying. In Jesus’ Name, AMEN.
