*NOTE- There are two devotionals written for October 26th.*

OCTOBER 26- John 20:21-“As My Father hath sent Me, even so send I you.”

 SO SEND I YOU

So send I you to teach all nations.

So send I you to preach My Word.

So send I you with joy  the Gospel  story

So send I you until all souls have heard.

So send I you with child-like, free abandon

So send I you to follow where He leads

So send I you to risk, not ever knowing

That where you planted souls forgiven feed.

JOURNAL JOTTINGS: God chooses ordinary people to serve Him. Attitude is an large part of ministry. The Call can be local or world-wide. True laborers are few.  Jesus knew that only SOME would be saved.

Journal the places where you have sowed seed and thought no harvest grew. Return to those places and see what God is doing today. Obedience was your only directive. The Holy Spirit is responsible for production.

CHALLENGE: Live long enough to see what seemed to be dry, undernourished seed bearing fruit. Praise Him.

DEAR LORD, Thank you for the joy of living long enough to discover that seeds planted in lives decades ago are suddenly flourishing for Your Honor. Thank you for the privilege of always being a part of YOUR planting program.

Help us to keep on planting with abandon for Him. In Jesus’ Name, AMEN

OCTOBER 26-John 20:21- “As My father hath sent Me, even so send I you.”

 I DIDN’T KNOW

I didn’t know I loved Him until I felt His warm embrace

I didn’t know I knew Him until His Presence set the pace.

I didn’t know I touched Him until I saw His Power  heal.

I didn’t know I served Him until He became to me, so real.

I didn’t know He loved me until I saw a baby born

I didn’t know true worship until last Easter morn.

I didn’t know the pleasure of a life fulfilled through Him

I didn’t know the meaning of God’s contentment deep within.

I didn’t know forgiveness until I had to do it too

I wonder what we’ll never know until we prove Him true?

JOURNAL JOTTINGS: Journal your most recent, personal discovery about the Lord.  How long has the Lord been trying to teach you this truth?  The more we share the Joy of His Person and Presence, the more we fulfill His commission.  Share with someone today, what the Lord is teaching you about Himself.  Do you find that the fragrance of His Presence lingers on your life? Journal how we might learn to know Him better.

DEAR LORD, Forgive us for not taking the time to know YOU better. It is so exciting to walk and talk with YOU all day long. Thank you that we can never exhaust the wonderful things we are learning each day about YOU.

Help us to be so in love with YOU, that everyone will experience the aroma of Your Presence when we enter the room. In Jesus’ Name, AMEN.
