OCTOBER 29- 2 Corinthians 5:21-“He hath made Him to be sin for us….

that we might be made the righteousness of God”

 LOVE MADE HIM DIE

He did not die out of sympathy. He did not die out of shame.

He died for my redemption. Removing my sin in His Name.

He did not die to be popular. .He did not die for some cause.

He died to redeem and save me. He died because of God’s laws.

God cannot look at any sin stains, yet Jesus took all our sin on.

God turned His back on Jesus, now our sins no longer belong.

Now I am cleansed and forgiven. Jesus broke my death sentence for m.e

Jesus shed His blood to save me.  Because of God’s plan, I am free.

Righteousness is a privilege He offers. Righteousness is a gift I own.

Not because of any merit or privilege, but because of His love, I am home!

JOURNAL JOTTINGS: Jesus never sinned Himself, but He carried our sins to Calvary. Understanding  the agony He suffered is beyond our comprehension. The Bible says that “The wages of sin is death.” That’s why Jesus died. Sin killed Him. Journal the joy of the rest of this verse, “BUT the gift of God is eternal life, through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

DEAR LORD: Thank you for loving us enough to die for us. Thank you for taking the guilt and the shame too.

Help us to live in honor of YOU so that You will say that it was worth the price You paid for our redemption. We will be eternally grateful for all you have done. In Jesus’ Name, AMEN.
