OCTOBER 31 – Matthew 17:20-“Faith as a grain of mustard seed….”
FAITH
I planted a seed of faith today. Only God was aware and cared.
I planted a seed of tremendous weight God saw and He’ll answer prayer.
I planted a seed of faith today. It is painful to speak about
God was aware of my troubled heart so He showed me a tiny sprout.
It is easier to plant in the sunshine It is muddy to plant in the rain
But God said, “Child, I am working I know the extent of your pain.”
I planted in faith where there was none. I obediently praised Him there.
God said, “Simply rest in my promises. I have heard your heartfelt prayer.”

JOURNAL JOTTINGS: List flowering bulbs that you could plant . Estimate the numbers of flowers you expect to see grow from each bulb. Write that in another column. Now consider your current prayer request. Every time you pray about consider it a growth spurt inside your bulb of faith. In the third column, write the date of your prayer answered. In faith, BEFORE the next season produces the flowers, those dormant prayers will be answered. Enjoy your prayer of faith garden and share the flowers with a friend. Artist’s could paint the promised flowers or photograph them.
THE PROMISE OF SPRING IS A WONDERFUL THING…God bless and encourage you today.
DEAR LORD, Wake the dormancy of our faith and renew it for your glory today. In Jesus’ Name. AMEN

OCTOBER 31- IN CONCLUSION
SEASONS
It is easy to plant in the springtime, with the memory of harvests past.
It is lovely to plant in the summer with warm gentle rains at last.
It is normal to harvest in autumn, to have dormancy in the cold
But if the process is ever altered, farmers tremble in fear, I’m told.
So I will plant a seed in my winter, it’s painful to speak about
God is aware of our struggles, so He showed me a tiny faith sprout
I planted by faith and in gratitude, when my heart was broken in two
God said, “Child I am still working, there is nothing more you can do”
I planted by faith in my sorrow, when relationships shattered and fell
God said, “Child, you must keep on trusting, by faith I do all things well.”
I planted seed faith where there was none. I obediently began praising Him there.
God said, “Child simply rest on My Promise. I have heard and seen all your prayer”.
So now it’s all up to My Father. Finally my faith has begun
Forgive me Lord, for my weakness, I’m waiting for Springtime to come!
