OCTOBER 6-Gal. 1:15-16-“When it pleased God …to reveal His Son in me.”

 MY FAULT

It is not my fault I’m a sinner, I am part of the human race.

It IS my fault if I reject Him, with salvation’s plan well in place.

God can recreate my being. He can enlarge the mind-set I own.

He can change my disposition, but He won’t force Himself on the throne.

I myself must realize my condition. I alone need to acknowledge my need.

He’ll meet me where I am and save me. He lovingly waits without plea.

It’s my fault, if I choose to reject Him. His offered forgiveness remains open today.

But my stubborn, sinful disposition, is unwilling to surrender, God’s Way.

Break down those faulty dispositions. Break away from the trash in your way.

Open your eyes to see Jesus. He will cleanse and forgive you today.

JOURNAL JOTTINGS: Why do people blame God for their own decisions? Journal a time when your stubborn, lack of surrender caused havoc. What created the turning point for you? Journal the joys of surrendering to Jesus.

DEAR LORD, Please forgive our stubborn, immature, “I CAN DO IT MYSELF” mind set. Bring us to the end of ourselves and teach us the joy of relying on your opinion in everything in our lives. Thank you for teaching us the joy of obedience. In Jesus’ Name, AMEN
