Matthew 5:4- Blessed are they that mourn….

IT’S OKAY TO CRY

It’s okay to cry when you’re hurting.

It’s okay to moan when you’re sad.

It’s okay to laugh when it’s funny.

It’s okay to say, “ I’m so mad!”

Jesus did His share of laughing.

He also wept in agony alone.

Jesus expressed and respected emotions

Emotions release truths of your own.

No one should judge, “That’s not hurting!”

No one else can feel the way you feel.

God created each cell of your body.

He knows every pain that is real.

Emotions should not dominate or control us.

Treasure emotions as indicators of worth.

Your emotions are gifts from Your Creator.

Allow your emotions to lead you into New Birth.

So weep on in release, dear Pilgrim.

Erupt with laughter, collecting joy on your way.

The soul that squelches all emotion

Will like a robot, become more rigid every day!

God wants to caress your emotions.

He wants to teach you and lead you along.

Learn from those emotions, they’re life lessons

God created your emotions to belong.

Ecclesiastes 3:4-there's "a time to weep and a time to
laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance"
