REVIVAL

Ten people had their church meeting.

Ten people timidly gathered around.

Ten people were faithfully praying

For God to come visit their town.

One spoke about fears at revivals.

One shared about gossip and such.

One offered formulas and logistics

While one didn’t say very much.

One became sleepy and was nodding.

One uttered a deep, heartfelt groan.

One heavily burdened grieved there.

Understanding why their leader felt alone.

One inquired about historical revivals.

God said, “Child, that’s up to Me.

Revivals only come through open vessels

Who will tarry long enough to be free”

Free to first and foremost love Jesus.

Free to surrender agendas in His Name.

Perhaps, God has sent your revival

But no one recognized enough to claim.

Tarry and wait a while in God’s Presence.

Confess unforgiveness and fears of the past.

When revival is recognized in your town

It will change, convert and will last.
