SIMPLE OBEDIENCE

Obedience is a simplistic thing removing “me” from demanding control.

Obedience is a worthwhile choice creating peace where uncertainty rolls.

Obedience is unnatural to some. Fear shakes obedience to the core.

Fear shouts, “Control and confuse.” While obedience trusts God even more.

Obedience relaxes my hand in His. Obedience settles confusion’s sad case.

Obedience seeks the simplicity of God welcoming discernment wrapped in Grace.

Lord, reduce the time obedience takes. Help me respond swiftly to Your Commands.

May I simply follow Your Voice finding peace in the palm of Your Hands.

PONDER- Have you ever done what you KNEW was right reaping loneliness in those decisions? Often,  simplistic solutions are exactly God’s best choice. Journal the methods God uses to assure you of your decision making wisdom. How do you feel when your child unquestioningly obeys you? Compare those thoughts with the thoughts God might have when you readily obey Him. Welcome to new depths of intimacy with God.
