BLUNT MOTIVE

God has a plan and a motive. He has a design for each precious heart.

Distractions can permeate the arena, diluting motivation before it starts.

Holiness will sharpen Godly motives. Unforgiveness can stifle progress,

Dulling any sense of His Presence. His Calling becomes covered in dust.

Emerge past the sin. Search for meaning. Beware of sin’s dishonest misdeeds.

Looking at life from God’s viewpoint permits true holiness to intercede.

Study life from God’s perspective. Credit Him with eternity’s planned view.

The best sharpening tool for Jesus is a life in which He is the glue!

Allow Him to sharpen your motives. Disallow the enemy any time or space.

Dullness of motive is not from Jesus. Godliness becomes a gift of His Grace.

PONDER- Soul searching is never comfortable. Have you renounced the hidden dishonesty of things currently or in the past? Hiding is simplistic. Journal the freedom that comes when the hidden things are exposed between you and God. Repent immediately when memory recalls things not pleasing to the Father. The more intimate you are with the Father, the more quickly cleansing occurs.  Journal the journey and joy of transparency before Him.

Dear Lord, Thank You for the sensitivity in my spirit that makes me uncomfortable until I repent. Reveal to me the areas where I need cleansing for Jesus’ Sake. Thank You for forgiving me. Help me to be strong in areas of temptation. Help me to live my life in a way that is pleasing to You. In Jesus’ Name, AMEN.
