John 13:13- “Ye call me Master and Lord; and ye way well; for so I am.”

Remember to read “My Utmost for His Highest” for Today

MASTER

My  Master  lives within my heart.

He knows my needs before I start.

His love is strong. His love is bold

He heals the wounds of hearts grown cold.

My Master calls. His Call is clear.

Why do we wait or pretend not to hear?

My Master speaks. His Word is true.

He patiently waits as we follow His cue.

My Master is pleased. His work is sown.

Time now to wait as God’s harvest is grown.

POINTS TO PONDER- How obedient are we when the Master nudges us? Speed of obedience is in direct proportion to the amount of loyalty to the Master.

Become alert and sensitive to the Master’s Call. Note the bonuses and privileges of the alert responder. Journal your experience with the following: Obedience to the Master is in direct proportion to intimacy with Him.

DEAR LORD, I long to be Your obedient servant. Help me to surrender the areas of reluctance that slow my growing intimacy with You.  I know that in Your Presence is fullness of joy and at Your right hand are pleasures for ever more.
