MEMORIES
Memory is a gift from God. It can be joyful, painful or not.
Our memories are God’s handiwork or a snare by Satan caught.
As you prepare yourself to pray. What thoughts automatically greet?
Are you free of encumbrances or do painful remembrances defeat?
God wants to draw us close to Himself. Forgiveness is part of His Plan.
If anyone has offended you, memories control your inner man.
Forgive the offender. Make things right. Conviction is God’s teaching tool.
Forgiveness must be offered to all. This is God’s loving rule.
Self-sacrifice is a noble trait. Forgiveness undeserved is a chore.
If you decide to forgive someone, God’s love through you will pour.
Offer yourself and your gifts to God. Offer your talents and time.
God is delighted. He is reminding you, “My loving child, you are Mine.”
Bring your gifts, your talents and praise. Offer everyone forgiveness and peace.
God’s Son created His forgiveness plan. His bonus is your memory’s release!

DEAR LORD, Thank You for Your unfailing forgiveness to me. Thank you for the strength and choice to forgive. Help me to remember to forgive myself. Thank you for the freedom that comes through forgiveness. Thank you for not only forgiving but forgetting my sin. Help me to forgive Your Way. In Jesus’ Name, AMEN.
