2 Samuel 23:16

“…Nevertheless he would not drink thereof, but poured it out unto the Lord.”

Remember to read “My Utmost for His Highest” for Today

POUR OUT

Lord, You’ve blessed me with Your Presence. You’ve blessed me with Your Peace.

Help me to share You with  others, the Wealthy, the Poor and the Least.

The Least receive blessings from Jesus. The Poor have provisions to claim.

The Wealthy need Your anointing to surrender their possessive fame.

Nothing we own holds merit. Nothing we accomplish is ours.

When poured out we receive blessings, while hoarding  stagnates His Power.

The blessings God gives are abundant. The blessings are ours and Divine.

Thank you for the Peace of Your Presence. Blessings will flow like wine.

Wine is to be drunk with pleasure. Wine offers refreshing of soul.

When every blessing is poured out, God is free to accomplish  His goal.

PONDER- If every blessing you received was only temporarily yours, how would you dispense it to others? Shared blessings are double blessings. They could be spoken or written encouragements, gifts, hospitality, prayers, servant tasks, unknown or anonymous gifts, spending time with someone, etc.  Journal the blessings and ripples of pleasure that sharing brings. List and date the blessings you have received. Now forget your giving. Anonymous giving  brings even more joy!

Dear Lord, Thank you for all the blessings You give. Every blessing comes from You. You are our Source. Thank you that we are “drinking from our saucers” because our cups are overflowing.  Lord, give us creative ways to share Your Blessings with others. Thank you for the discovery of secret giving. May “Let not your right hand know what your left hand is giving.” become a way of life for me. In Jesus’ Name, AMEN.
