THANK YOU
Teenage brother, Robby was helping little Ricky get ready for church. Ricky’s hair was unruly and abundant. Robby patiently worked, finally taming Ricky’s hair into place as best he could. Robby loved his little brother. At times he was a nuisance, but today, Robby loved him.
Robby remarked as he finished, “You have lovely hair. You should thank God for it.”
Robby was remembering old Uncle Sam’s shiny, bald head. Hair could be temporary!
Immediately three- year- old Ricky bowed his head praying silently.
A few silent seconds passed.
With glowing eyes Ricky turned to look at his cherished big brother.
“God said, “You are welcome.”
Matthew 10:30- “Even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.”
Ephesians 5:20-“Always giving thanks to God the Father for everything.”
